AN AUSTRALIAN WEDDING IN BANGALOW

A little while later in between some time on the beach, Melanie & Duncan held their wedding in Bangalow, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The Valiant was there and so were we and it was truly lovely.

We miss you two but know that life in Sydney suits you so well and that long holidays in Europe are worth looking forward to.

This week is another busy one with lots of editing ahead; a portrait shoot for the lovely Georgia, finishing up a beautiful wedding at One Marylebone, shooting a party for my friend Rosie and photographing a very exciting secret garden gig for Matt Corby. There’s a lot to look forward to.

Their public declaration on the Amalfi coast that day, filled me up with so much happiness, an utterly perfect wedding in May. Just thirty of their closest friends, gathered together to witness this, four earnest hands held together closed tight, two vows and that first kiss.

A quiet afternoon one Monday in spring, a wedding in Hampstead, two lovebirds and a ring. At Burgh House we gathered, on a most notable date, Gary arrived early and Clarisa was not late. They stood before friends and promised their hearts, we clapped and we grinned, we all felt a part. • AN INTIMATE CAPE TOWN WEDDING

I met Sanchia three years ago, working as a hairdresser in Camden. She was the first hairdresser to tell me that my thick and unruly hair was actually beautiful and instantly, we were friends. Together, Sanchia & Richard are a truly fantastic couple; large-hearted, vivacious and very, very stylish, so I was privileged to photograph their intimate garden ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa whilst there on holiday last month.

  • A HAYMARKET HOTEL WEDDING

I photographed Lia & Gerald’s wedding exactly one month ago today, at London’s chic and vba was so elegant in her sophisticated dress and vintage jewelry and was such a pleasure to photograph with those beautiful smiling eyes. Gerald’s dapper suit perfectly matched his debonair swagger – he looked to me as if he had just wandered out of the Rat Pack…

Tomorrow I am going on an adventure to a small island called Samsø in Denmark, to photograph what is going to be a very intimate Danish / English wedding. I absolutely cannot wait.

  1. Beautiful in every way and so much happiness captured. My favourite is the big vertical BW shot during the ceremony. And what a stunning dress!

  3. Magic, Magic, Magic. For a while I could make excuses and dream that perhaps the reason why you took all the beautiful photos you did must be because of the magic hemisphere that you lived in. But after this wedding I have no excuses. The exact same exquisite pretty on our shores as beautifully as you do it on your own. Not to mention you are ADORABLE. Love love xo

  5. Memories aided by photos last generations and give joy to one and all. Melanie and Duncan are truly suited to each other, may their love grow over the years. To see all our extended family together in one beautiful location was priceless for me and Phil, thank you Chloe. By the way Melanie’s killer pins are inherited from her mother…her stunning shoes fit me too!
