~This time last week, I had just come home from a day spent at
Unveiled, an event held by the British Journal of Photography in association with
Wedding magazine and
Hasselblad. The event was aimed at wedding photographers in the UK; those established and aspiring.

I was thrilled to be asked by the BJP to speak about my experience in the wedding photography industry and to stand up alongside
Kat of the infamous
RocknRoll bride, to talk about how I began Caught the Light. I absolutely love my job and feel very passionately about natural wedding photography, believing that there’s a direct correlation between valuing your product as a photographer and loving each wedding from start-to-finish. It was a great experience for me to meet some colleagues and discuss all sorts of wedding photography things. The July issue of the BJP also features a little about me in the Intelligence section. I was interviewed to discuss a bit about how important things like this blog,
Facebook & increasingly
Twitter, have become to me as a photographer.

I’m off to Switzerland in the morning, to get ready for a wedding on Saturday. It’s been a little grey here in London over the past few days, so let’s hope Zurich has a little more sunshine to offer. I’ll be able to share last month’s destination wedding next week too-a beautiful wedding in Tuscany.
Beautiful in every way and so much happiness captured. My favourite is the big vertical BW shot during the ceremony. And what a stunning dress!
Gorgeous colours, beautiful setting and fantastic storytelling. :)
So lovely and Intimate. I love the handfans, the kids, the glances – and I love how you always manage to capture those hidden details.
These are blooming good! Great work as usual!
I adore Mel’s dress, wow!
Thank you Chloe! We were SO incredibly lucky to have you as our Guest & Photographer…& a cheeky one of us is the icing on the cake! Thank you again & I’ll be sure to welcome you back very soon for your next Australian Wedding…xxx
Garden weddings are THE BEST!!!! ;)
Oh how I love relaxed outdoor weddings! Beautiful as always
Magic, Magic, Magic. For a while I could make excuses and dream that perhaps the reason why you took all the beautiful photos you did must be because of the magic hemisphere that you lived in. But after this wedding I have no excuses. The exact same exquisite pretty on our shores as beautifully as you do it on your own. Not to mention you are ADORABLE. Love love xo
Beautiful!
such gorgeous photos Chloe – that pic of the bride with her dad is my absolute fave, so much happiness.. xxx
As if that wedding couldn’t get any sweeter, it just did! Super.
Memories aided by photos last generations and give joy to one and all. Melanie and Duncan are truly suited to each other, may their love grow over the years. To see all our extended family together in one beautiful location was priceless for me and Phil, thank you Chloe. By the way Melanie’s killer pins are inherited from her mother…her stunning shoes fit me too!
Beautiful images…I really like how you’ve edited the black and white’s too. Great work!
So good Chloe and such a great wedding…
