  • IN THE PAST MONTH

    …we have flown 9475km, driven 3750km, spent 17 nights in 10 different hotels, squeezed 14 newly weds, cried at 7 weddings, sat on 6 planes, spoken four different languages (at questionable degrees of fluency), travelled with three different loved ones as dutiful assistants and are now two very happy and grateful photographers. It’s been one really busy past month, but it’s also been so worth it.

    Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to.

    My first wedding in Amalfi, for two very beautiful people…

    And I finished up in España with elegant Alia & dashing Pierre’s fantastic wedding in Spain…

    It has been a beyond beautiful month for us both and it looks like it’s set to last. We’re off to two lovely weddings in Ascot & Wiltshire today, a little bit closer to home.

  • A HAMPSHIRE WEDDING

    Carey and James are a lovely, down-to-earth couple who got married in the first week in June. They held their reception at the very stylish Anchor Inn in the very quaint Hampshire, out in the English countryside. I have never been to such a fantastic pub in all of my life and I’m not proud to admit that I’ve visited a fair few. We had such beautiful weather that everyone was in the highest of spirits, which really made for quite the perfect day.

  • A RUFFLED BLOG FEATURE

    I knew I would love Alex & Chris when we first spoke on the phone early last year. They’re designers and run their own studio, We Three Club, so I was very excited to see how much of their personalities they would bring to their wedding and when Alex told me she’d be wearing a vintage dress, I was in. They booked me right there and then on the phone without even needing to meet me, which for me is always a huge compliment. She also totally out-quiffed me with her gorgeous hair, scoring an easy 10/10 in the style stakes.

  • A WEDDING AT ST PAULS

    Rae is the kind of person who makes you laugh with one sly look and she found her perfect match in Bill. They live in New York, but chose to get married in London at The Crypt in St Paul’s Cathedral as Bill’s lovely mum has an MBE, which is like a VIP pass for St Paul’s. I am so glad to have met them both and to have shared in their wedding day. It was grey and windy, but to me they proved that it doesn’t matter one tiny bit. They were getting married and that’s all that really counts, right?

It seems like yesterday you & your adorable plus 1 were here with us, picnicking on Nelson Park, watching fireworks from our Balcony, & jumping out of your skin over those nasty 8 legged creatures! We LOVE the photos & the knowledge that one of my favourite persons ever is responsible for such beautiful photos is reason to let the eyes swell & let a few more tears of happiness & love flow.   8. There are so many things I love about this wedding. The Chrysler Valiant, the Byron Lighthouse, the blue sky, the champagne in the Esky, the killer shoes and of course, the Bride and Groom. Beautifully captured once again!
