AN INTIMATE BYRON BAY CEREMONY
Being a wedding photographer is an honor and a privilege, an invitation and a vote of confidence. Photographing a dear friend’s wedding is all of those things, plus the swelling of your heart, the shaking of your hands and the crying of your eyes.
I travelled all the way over to the other side of the world to photograph these two momentous events. First was the very intimate Byron Bay ceremony of five. It rained and it shone, she wore killer heels, he drove the Valiant and I witnessed the marriage of Melanie & her photographer husband, Duncan.
Up next is their Bangalow wedding which they shared with friends and family. It was another rather emotional one…

It seems like yesterday you & your adorable plus 1 were here with us, picnicking on Nelson Park, watching fireworks from our Balcony, & jumping out of your skin over those nasty 8 legged creatures! We LOVE the photos & the knowledge that one of my favourite persons ever is responsible for such beautiful photos is reason to let the eyes swell & let a few more tears of happiness & love flow. There are so many things I love about this wedding. The Chrysler Valiant, the Byron Lighthouse, the blue sky, the champagne in the Esky, the killer shoes and of course, the Bride and Groom. Beautifully captured once again!
