PUBLISHED IN HARPER’S BAZAAR

To celebrate a rather British weekend, we’re thrilled to see Lisa & Rory’s wedding featured in Harper’s Bazaar Bride Arabia. Lisa & Rory live in Abu Dhabi, so it’s lovely for them to have their wedding in print close to home.

It’s such a beautiful publication, so I’m very honoured to be gracing their pages. Thank you Lisa & Rory and to you too, glamorous editor Louise.

In case you missed them, you can see their blog post here, their Martha Stewart wedding feature here and catch up with 100 Layer Cake’s highlights here and here too.

I’m just about to photograph a wedding here in Malaga, but fear not as I promise not to be thinking of sun, sangria and espadrilles, but scones, corgis and stiff upper lips. A very happy Jubilee weekend to you all.

This here is Miki. On the day of her wedding, she got dressed on a boat and it was bright and fresh and the view was so incredible. It was at this moment that I got a little bit awestruck. Isn’t she just beautiful?

I’m not sure that there is a better place to get ready for your wedding, than right by the sea.

I had a 4.30am start this morning for my first ever sunrise session and I’m up again at 3am for a flight to Mallorca. I am tired and I better get packing.

  • A BORDEAUX CHATEAU WEDDING

One cool, cloudy day in September, Alana & Anthony were wed. I boarded a flight for their wedding in France, it was going to be rad, they had said. For an intimate outdoor wedding, from Australia they all flew, she beamed and she laughed and she didn’t stop smiling and Anthony was pretty chuffed too.

  • A CASTELLI WEDDING IN ROME

A few years ago I moved to Italy and fell in love with Rome. Then I met an Australian and fell in love with him, moved back to London to get married and accidentally left a little bit of me behind. Returning to Rome to photograph a wedding was fantastic, but returning to Rome to photograph a wedding atop a castle was the icing on the cake.

  • A FRENCH CASTLE WEDDING

Kate & Rob are the kind of people you would describe as salt of the earth. Embracing and endearing, Emma-Jane and I felt like we’d been friends of theirs forever and with Rob’s sharp suit and Kate’s red hair, they were a treat to photograph. Two-hundred guests travelled from England & Dubai to the French town of Pierrefonds to celebrate their wedding in a huge medieval castle. It was certainly a weekend to remember.

  • AU REVOIR, OCTOBER

Summer is over, autumn has arrived and the busiest months of shooting, I seem to have survived…

October on Instagram was pretty eventful… a great deal of happiness was found with a trip to Bali to photograph a very, very beautiful wedding day, a hair-raising trip to Gilli Trawangan and a few days of peace and quiet before the 24-hour round trip back to London. I still have so much editing to catch up on, but it felt a little rude not to bid a fond farewell to the incredibly special month that was October.

  • A WEDDING IN PORTUGAL

Jess & Ludge got married in April this year in Lourinha, Portugal and I was so grateful to have been there. Friends and family flew from Sydney, London and Paris to celebrate and it made for a beautiful reunion.

The evening before, everyone met up for a chat and a catch up, this time in a tiny old village. We stood outside in the street, laughing and talking whilst the sun set and the bar next door sold glasses of wine for 30¢. This is the tiny village that Ludgero grew up in.

Early the next morning, I headed out to photograph Jess getting ready with her mum, in a lovely bright hotel room. My favourite.
