I was doubly thrilled recently to have had one of my images printed in the May issue of the British Journal of Photography, to advertise an event I’ll be speaking at in London, on July 1st.

You may be able to grab a copy of the British Journal of Photography’s May edition quickly before the June issue goes on sale. It’s a very beautiful magazine which takes a good look behind the scenes of photography and discusses the latest British photography campaigns, with insight and a discerning eye.

At Unveiled, I’ll be being interviewed by the infamous Kat of Rocknrollbride fame, talking a little bit about my photography style and how I found a spot in the British wedding photography market. The event is supported by Hasselblad and so I’ve also been asked to trial the newest addition to the Hasselblad H range, the H4D40, before the event which I am very excited about. It’s an amazing medium format camera and I’ll even get to use it on an actual wedding too!

The editor of Wedding magazine, Catherine Westwood will be there too, so it will be interesting to hear about the wedding industry from both her print and Kat’s online perspective.

Any of you who have met me know how much I love to talk, but it’s still a little bit intimidating getting up in front of big groups of people; especially those industry professionals who read the BJP and look to Hasselblad as the respected brand that it is.   • AN AIX-EN-PROVENCE WEDDING

    It is always special photographing a wedding day, but sometimes a little bit even more special when the bride is a wedding blogger who also happens to be exceptionally lovely and is marrying her husband under a bright blue sky. Nick & Georgia flew me to France to photograph their wedding weekend in Provence at Chateau Grimaldi and for this, I am eternally grateful.

  • A HAYMARKET HOTEL WEDDING

    I photographed Lia & Gerald’s wedding exactly one month ago today, at London’s chic and vba was so elegant in her sophisticated dress and vintage jewelry and was such a pleasure to photograph with those beautiful smiling eyes.     I loved each and every one of the twelve hours I spent at this wedding, so thank you both for choosing me to share it with you.
    Tomorrow I am going on an adventure to a small island called Samsø in Denmark, to photograph what is going to be a very intimate Danish / English wedding. I absolutely cannot wait.

  • TRULY GRATEFUL

    I am always enamoured with nights like this one.

    An evening at home with my husband, in our little London flat, sat outside under the heater on the terrace, listening to our neighbour’s winter concert, with a bottle of Oyster Bay. Feeling alive and truly grateful for life and love, forever surprised at how sweet London can be.

    It’s been a phenomenal start to the year. I am already overwhelmed by what’s in store, but overwhelmed in the best way possible.
