A RUFFLED BLOG FEATURE

I knew I would love Alex & Chris when we first spoke on the phone early last year. They’re designers and run their own studio, We Three Club, so I was very excited to see how much of their personalities they would bring to their wedding and when Alex told me she’d be wearing a vintage dress, I was in. They booked me right there and then on the phone without even needing to meet me, which for me is always a huge compliment. She also totally out-quiffed me with her gorgeous hair, scoring an easy 10/10 in the style stakes.

They’re something straight out of a much cooler era, wouldn’t you agree?

Alex also hand-designs wedding invitations and details here at Dear So & So, so be sure to get in touch if you love the styling of her wedding day as much as I do.

This beautiful wedding is featured here over on the oh-so-pretty Ruffled today, which we three are all thrilled about! Thank you so much Amanda for sharing their unique style over on your beautiful blog.

You can also see Alex & Chris’ wedding video here but I’m warning you, it might make you cry a bit.

The May & June issue of You & Your Wedding magazine is very exciting as it features quite a few of my photos, both weddings and portraits.

I got to meet the magazine’s new editor Maxine Briggs and spent a little while photographing her around her office. She’s very lovely and will no doubt do a tremendous job in heading up one of our favourite titles.

I was also asked to photograph Peta who has the enviable title of editor-at-large and her very stylish fashion assistant, Alison.

It’s always lovely for my clients to have something else to hold onto after the wedding and Clare & Rich’s Cotswolds wedding was an absolute detail-fest, just perfect for You & Your Wedding. Their beautiful wedding will be blogged soon, I promise!

  • LAKE COMO

June in Lake Como is a magical place to be, to wander and take photos and absorb the sheer beauty. The water and the sunshine and peace and light abound as the lake laps to the water’s edge, which is where I could be found, with pizza and gelato and a camera in my hand as I thanked another couple for bringing me back to my homeland…

  • A BURGH HOUSE WEDDING

A quiet afternoon one Monday in spring, a wedding in Hampstead, two lovebirds and a ring. At Burgh House we gathered, on a most notable date, Gary arrived early and Clarisa was not late. They stood before friends and promised their hearts, we clapped and we grinned, we all felt a part. That beautiful day, a mole & his wife, a perfect beginning to their new married life.

  2. You are right, you were totally out quiffed! I love the details and the images and once again have done a beautiful job with this one. I would also like to say that I love the Citroen DS2!

  3. Everything about this wedding is so, so beautiful… the bride, the dress, the photography, the stationery, the framed embroidery… everything! Alex’s invitations are incredible also :) Now I must find me some of them big balloons!

  4. Hello! We would love to know if you’re available for our wedding on Saturday 5 November. Do send me an email if you are! Many thanks, Alice

  5. Love this.. Really impressed by all the details and the clear thought they put into making the day theirs, so they’ll be able to look back and think “yeah, that was us…” rather than some strangers they dressed up as for the day.

And the perfectly captured photos will of course help with that no end :)
