A BUSY THREE WEEKS

Here’s a sneak of what I’ve been doing over the past twenty-one days.

Back to London for some pre-wedding photos on Columbia Road…

A walk along the river after a wedding at St Paul’s…

And a weekend in Portugal.

It’s been a very busy three weeks, but the next two are a little calmer with portraits and engagements and a lot of editing to do, before a wedding very close to my heart. I’m also going to be photographing this little beauty, our very own London Bride.

    Tomorrow at 5am, I leave for Portugal to photograph these two love birds who are getting married on Saturday. Aren’t they just gorgeous? They’re so very much in love and their wedding day is going to be of internationality, with friends from all over the world.   • A HEMPEL HOTEL WEDDING

    Jing & Bai are a truly unique couple. From the moment we met, I loved their style and individuality, Jing’s cheeky eyes and Bai’s sense of calm. I was honoured to photograph their intimate London wedding, which they shared together with twenty friends. At our first meeting, Bai told me that he liked tilt-shift photography, so I bought a tilt-shift lens to use at their wedding. It’s a tiny little bit magic.

    I try to be a wedding photographer that I myself would like to have had, so when I put together packages I take into consideration what creative brides may like and what they might like to organise themselves.     After much hunting and sampling, I finally came across a book company whose product I loved and whose service was unrivalled. They allow me complete flexibility in album design and provide a simply beautiful, matte and digitally-printed album on fine art paper, with a really beautiful texture.   • A TRIP TO CAPE TOWN

    A couple of months ago, we went to Cape Town, for Richard & Sanchia’s wedding and decided to make a really good holiday of it. On our first day, we rushed down to a beach bar to have cocktails in the setting sun with the very lovely Emma Norén and her handsome Ricky.

    This is my first photo taken with her beautiful Rolleiflex-there’s something sweet about taking a photographer’s photo. Emma photographed our wedding last year and for that, I adore her. We had so much organised for when we visited Cape Town, looking back at all the photos, I am amazed we fitted it all in.

    I’m now off away again for a few days, this time to Sicily to eat, sleep and take photos. Then I’m back to work on two weddings next week, in Covent Garden and the country. It’s going to be a really good week.
