A LONDON MOD WEDDING

This is the story of Mark & Paula’s wedding day. They are True Mods, beautiful individuals, cool, calm, cat-loving people… the types you want to spend your Friday nights at the pub with. They got married last October in Islington & I got myself a backstage pass.

Thank you both for having me, for letting me get to know you both a little, for the drinks at your local and the coffee on Charlotte Street. You are exceptional individuals and it was a most fantastic day spent with you both, your Mod friends and your lovely little families.

Wedding ceremony at: Islington Town hall / Wedding reception at: The Peasant, Clerkenwell / Make Up Artist: The Talented Tara Templeton

I have another two weddings left to blog from 2011 and a portrait session in Paris to share before it’s full steam ahead on blogging this year’s weddings so far, including a very beautiful affair at the ever classy One Marylebone. It’s been a busy six months, but we’re certainly not complaining.

  • A WEDDING IN PROVENCE

One day in Covent Garden, I met a couple quite head over heels. We spoke about their wedding, shook hands and agreed a deal. I would travel out to France for them and photograph their wedding, and they would smile and laugh all day, show me their happy ending. To Provence I went, excited, with those lovely Lavender & Rose girls, so I hope you can see what a perfect day it was, as their beautiful story unfurls.

  • RECENT MAGAZINE FEATURES

The May & June issue of You & Your Wedding magazine is very exciting as it features quite a few of my photos, both weddings and portraits.

I got to meet the magazine’s new editor Maxine Briggs and spent a little while photographing her around her office. She’s very lovely and will no doubt do a tremendous job in heading up one of our favourite titles.

I was also asked to photograph Peta who has the enviable title of editor-at-large and her very stylish fashion assistant, Alison.

It’s always lovely for my clients to have something else to hold onto after the wedding and Clare & Rich’s Cotswolds wedding was an absolute detail-fest, just perfect for You & Your Wedding. Their beautiful wedding will be blogged soon, I promise!
