A YEAR IN REVIEW

A year of celebration, commitments made true, huge declarations of love & forty I Dos. The taking of photos, memories made & then framed, this is the joy occupying most of my days. Four seasons fly past us, a whole three-six-five days, our hearts leap & they sink in a myriad of ways. Take nothing for granted, hold everyone close, is the lesson that this year has taught me the most. So we love and we rally and we choose to live well and look back at the stories that the year had to tell…

And so we look forward, bid farewell to twenty sixteen, I wish you love and good light for your twenty seventeen.

  • AU REVOIR, OCTOBER

    Summer is over, autumn has arrived and the busiest months of shooting, I seem to have survived…

    October on Instagram was pretty eventful… a great deal of happiness was found with a trip to Bali to photograph a very, very beautiful wedding day, a hair-raising trip to Gilli Trawangan and a few days of peace and quiet before the 24-hour round trip back to London. I still have so much editing to catch up on, but it felt a little rude not to bid a fond farewell to the incredibly special month that was October. 

  • A FRENCH RIVIERA BEACH WEDDING

    It was a dream to photograph a wedding on the Cote d’azur and I was so lucky to have met these two lovelies and to have shared a very beautiful weekend with all of their important people. Elegant, sophisticated, a day full of friends and laughter, Miki and Tom held their wedding on the French riviera at L’Ecrin beach restaurant in Cannes. I think you’ll agree, it was a little bit gorgeous.

  • THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF PHOTOGRAPHY

    I love to see my photos printed in frames or magazines, so I’m very chuffed to have had two recent features courtesy of the lovely Catherine at Wedding magazine.

    The first is in the British Journal of Photography’s March issue, which talks about the new style of wedding photography, featuring a portrait from Tara & Lawrence’s wedding.

    The second is in the pretty Wedding Flowers April edition; a full spread feature of the Westminster Chapel wedding I photographed last summer.

  • MY 2009 IN WEDDINGS

    Well, what a beautiful year it has been.
    ..
    I’ve worked hard as a Picture Editor during the week and managed to photograph my first five weddings on the weekends, too. I’ve made so many new friends and so many photos…  and I’ve loved it all.

  • TRULY GRATEFUL

    I am always enamoured with nights like this one.

    An evening at home with my husband, in our little London flat, sat outside under the heater on the terrace, listening to our neighbour’s winter concert, with a bottle of Oyster Bay. Feeling alive and truly grateful for life and love, forever surprised at how sweet London can be.

    It’s been a phenomenal start to the year. I am already overwhelmed by what’s in store, but overwhelmed in the best way possible.
