A SUMMERHOUSE WEDDING IN W9

This intimate London affair made me realise just how quickly two perfect strangers can become your friends. I had a beautiful day at Lynda & Blair’s Maida Vale wedding, starting off in Paddington, listening to The XX in the car on the way to the ceremony with the girls, a colourful canal boat ride to Little Venice and a very crafty reception at the bright and beautiful Summerhouse. It rained & shone all day long and everyone pulled together for a little adventure. It was truly a treat.

I am always so grateful to share days like these with such lovely individuals. Lynda & Blair, you really are very fantastic which is why I cried my way through most of your wedding. I promise they were happy tears though, so thank you again for having me.

    Summer is over, autumn has arrived and the busiest months of shooting, I seem to have survived…

    October on Instagram was pretty eventful… a great deal of happiness was found with a trip to Bali to photograph a very, very beautiful wedding day, a hair-raising trip to Gilli Trawangan and a few days of peace and quiet before the 24-hour round trip back to London.     It’s always excellent when I have my work featured, but to have a double post between the US and the UK was really exciting. I know a lot of my ideal brides look to Once Wed for inspiration, as do I as a photographer, so it’s been great to organise meets with a whole new audience. I have an exceptionally busy next few weeks on my hands!

  • THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF PHOTOGRAPHY

    I love to see my photos printed in frames or magazines, so I’m very chuffed to have had two recent features courtesy of the lovely Catherine at Wedding magazine.

    The first is in the British Journal of Photography’s March issue, which talks about the new style of wedding photography, featuring a portrait from Tara & Lawrence’s wedding.

    The second is in the pretty Wedding Flowers April edition; a full spread feature of the Westminster Chapel wedding I photographed last summer.
