On a Wednesday in late summer, when the sky was grey then blue, Tim & Phammy planned a party, and from Aus to France they flew. Chairs were set in the garden, friends and crates of local wine, with his best suit and her new dress all pressed and looking fine. The sun came out as they said their vows, the birds in the trees began to sing, they held hands and smiling at each other, sealed their promises with two rings.
Venue: private grounds, St Gery, France // Gold wedding dress: Fleur Wood, BHLDN
I cannot thank Tim & Phamy enough for having me photograph their wedding. I met them for a drink and a chat in Brisbane last year and I knew that I’d be gutted not to have won them over. They planned all they could and then exhaled and relaxed, letting go on the day to just let it all play out. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
I’m so thrilled to have had this wedding featured over on 100 Layer Cake, which has a little detail from Christine on her planning process too. Thanks to the ever stylish 100 Layer Cake ladies for the beautiful feature!
I’ve been grounded for the past fortnight with local London weddings for my return to One Marylebone (my all-time favourite London venue) and one this weekend at Dartmouth House in Mayfair. Emma Jane has been to Aberdeen and back for a beautiful wedding and the sun has occasionally made its appearance too and so have we on Hampstead Heath. It’s been a good start to June on all accounts…
