A FRENCH RIVIERA WEDDING

A beautiful weekend on the French Riviera, in the mountainside village of Eze, a couple in love stand beaming and blushing, amidst their families and all of their friends. We dined and we cheered, Nouvelle Vague filled the air and a bride shone her smile cheek to cheek. The sky stretched proud over St Jean Cap Ferrat, three shades of blue I could see, champagne was drunk and kisses exchanged as the sun set slowly in the sea…

The Venue: Chevre D’or hotel, Eze // The Dress: Reem Acra // Wedding Planner: Lavender & Rose Weddings // Florals: Wayne Riley Flowers // Music provided by Nouvelle Vague

Thank you so much to this most beautiful pair for allowing me to photograph their incredible wedding weekend. From Friday night’s festivities to Sunday on Paloma beach, it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Thank you too to Kerry, Jennifer & Sarah for their help planning and coordinating this wedding. You won’t find better wedding planners on the French Riviera than Lavender & Rose.

You can also check out Style Me Pretty’s very lovely feature of this French wedding too!

This weekend we’re back to the south of France not far from Cannes for a wedding at Chateau Castellaras in Mougins with those Lavender & Rose ladies. It’s my first time there but my second trip to back to France for weddings in two weeks, which means another chance to entice my freckles out of their winter hibernation. Emma Jane is heading to a wedding at Chateau Rigaud in Bordeaux for her second time also and she’s sounding pretty excited. We’re very lucky, very busy girls indeed.

In between shooting, editing, emailing, meeting and blogging, I also do a little bit of instagramming too. You can check out some sneaky previews of my most recent wedding days and a little bit of our daily pretty also, if you’re that way inclined…

Their public declaration on the Amalfi coast that day, filled me up with so much happiness, an utterly perfect wedding in May. Just thirty of their closest friends, gathered together to witness this, four earnest hands held together closed tight, two vows and that first kiss.

  • AN ENGLISH COUNTRY WEDDING

One afternoon with sunshine, a day in late May, I drove all the way to Sussex to photograph a wedding day. Ollie & Mels declared their union be one, so we all came together and smiled in unison. Some words were exchanged, hands were squeezed in delight, it really was so beautiful to watch these two unite.  Two families together and a plethora of friends, a party for two people and a dance at the end…

  • A RUFFLED BLOG FEATURE

I knew I would love Alex & Chris when we first spoke on the phone early last year. They’re designers and run their own studio, We Three Club, so I was very excited to see how much of their personalities they would bring to their wedding and when Alex told me she’d be wearing a vintage dress, I was in. They booked me right there and then on the phone without even needing to meet me, which for me is always a huge compliment. She also totally out-quiffed me with her gorgeous hair, scoring an easy 10/10 in the style stakes.
