Being commissioned to photograph a wedding in Bali was an absolute dream come true and I couldn’t be more grateful to M&E for taking me with them. Capturing this wedding at the beautiful Alila Manggis was such a privilege and watching M&E kick up their heels for their first dance had me beaming behind my camera. Those guys really know how to dance!

This week sees a return to photographing weddings with my first wedding of the year at the Langdale Chase hotel in Winderemere. I’ve never been to the Lake District before but shall be packing seventeen pairs of socks and some hiking boots to fill these London lungs with some really fresh air.     It is impossible not to be happy in the presence of Adam and Sophie. They are so very much in love with each other, you in turn find yourself falling a little bit in love with them. They laugh a lot and make you smile, they’re kind and affectionate, relaxed and real and as I discovered one day in Brighton, the kind of people you feel like you’ve always known. They also have a habit of making the sun shine, which was perfect for our morning wandering around for their pre-wedding photos.

  • A WEDDING IN PORTUGAL

    Jess & Ludge got married in April this year in Lourinha, Portugal and I was so grateful to have been there. Friends and family flew from Sydney, London and Paris to celebrate and it made for a beautiful reunion.

    The evening before, everyone met up for a chat and a catch up, this time in a tiny old village. We stood outside in the street, laughing and talking whilst the sun set and the bar next door sold glasses of wine for 30¢. This is the tiny village that Ludgero grew up in.


    Early the next morning, I headed out to photograph Jess getting ready with her mum, in a lovely bright hotel room. My favourite.

  • AN AIX-EN-PROVENCE WEDDING

    It is always special photographing a wedding day, but sometimes a little bit even more special when the bride is a wedding blogger who also happens to be exceptionally lovely and is marrying her husband under a bright blue sky. Nick & Georgia flew me to France to photograph their wedding weekend in Provence at Chateau Grimaldi and for this, I am eternally grateful.
