A RUFFLED BLOG FEATURE

I knew I would love Alex & Chris when we first spoke on the phone early last year. They’re designers and run their own studio, We Three Club, so I was very excited to see how much of their personalities they would bring to their wedding and when Alex told me she’d be wearing a vintage dress, I was in. They booked me right there and then on the phone without even needing to meet me, which for me is always a huge compliment. She also totally out-quiffed me with her gorgeous hair, scoring an easy 10/10 in the style stakes.

They’re something straight out of a much cooler era, wouldn’t you agree?

Alex also hand-designs wedding invitations and details here at Dear So & So, so be sure to get in touch if you love the styling of her wedding day as much as I do.

This beautiful wedding is featured here over on the oh-so-pretty Ruffled today, which we three are all thrilled about! Thank you so much Amanda for sharing their unique style over on your beautiful blog.

You can also see Alex & Chris’ wedding video here but I’m warning you, it might make you cry a bit.

Carey and James are a lovely, down-to-earth couple who got married in the first week in June. They held their reception at the very stylish Anchor Inn in the very quaint Hampshire, out in the English countryside. I have never been to such a fantastic pub in all of my life and I’m not proud to admit that I’ve visited a fair few. We had such beautiful weather that everyone was in the highest of spirits, which really made for quite the perfect day.

  • A SUMMERHOUSE WEDDING IN W9

This intimate London affair made me realise just how quickly two perfect strangers can become your friends. I had a beautiful day at Lynda & Blair’s Maida Vale wedding, starting off in Paddington, listening to The XX in the car on the way to the ceremony with the girls, a colourful canal boat ride to Little Venice and a very crafty reception at the bright and beautiful Summerhouse. It rained & shone all day long and everyone pulled together for a little adventure. It was truly a treat.

  • A WEDDING AT ONE MARYLEBONE

Kate & Tom were the first clients I met after a long flight home from Australia in January. We had a drink at The Alice House and talked for hours and I knew before I’d left, that we had become friends. Their wedding was just beautiful. Kate shone, Tom grinned, they both said I do and I cried just a little bit, from the sheer love of it all.

Do you remember James & Philippa’s exceptionally stylish Cotswolds wedding? Philippa poured a huge amount of time and effort into the design and styling of the day, so we were both thrilled that the ever stylish You & Your Wedding magazine wanted to feature it in their May/June issue. It even scored a two-page spread!

  • A FLORAL CROWNED QUEEN

I often fall a little bit in love with my brides and find it quite hard to detach myself from what is for most, a day full of emotion. This wedding at the family farm, was no exception. Tori & Oli are the personification of what it means to love and be loved and never have I seen people so utterly adored by their friends and family. I hope these photos go some way in showing a snippet of just what a beautiful day of colour and happiness it was.

  1. Eeeek! What an absolutely stunning wedding – love all the details and the bride + groom are adorable!! The pics are gorgeous – my faves are the two when they’re coming down the aisle. Absolutely beautiful!

  2. You are right, you were totally out quiffed! I love the details and the images and once again have done a beautiful job with this one. I would also like to say that I love the Citroen DS2!

  3. Everything about this wedding is so, so beautiful… the bride, the dress, the photography, the stationery, the framed embroidery… everything! Alex’s invitations are incredible also :) Now I must find me some of them big balloons!

  4. Hello! We would love to know if you’re available for our wedding on Saturday 5 November. Do send me an email if you are! Many thanks, Alice

  5. Love this.. Really impressed by all the details and the clear thought they put into making the day theirs, so they’ll be able to look back and think “yeah, that was us…” rather than some strangers they dressed up as for the day.

And the perfectly captured photos will of course help with that no end :)
