RECENT PRESS

It’s always so exciting to see your work in print but I am especially thrilled for my first ever Japanese feature with Amy & Duncan’s wedding day in ELLE Mariage Japan.

Lisa & Rory’s 2012 wedding venue The Olde Bell has also been revisited by Brides magazine and with tips on how to plan a wedding weekend from the most recent issue of You & Your Wedding.

Thank you as ever to all of these beautiful magazines for including my photos and providing a pretty cool keepsake for my couples too!

This week has been a particularly busy one with shooting and editing and gearing up for this weekend’s London wedding at Home House and next week’s weddings in Tuscany and back in London on the Thames.  We also have our hands full with our five-year anniversary party plans and a little trip away for some Greek island sunshine… June is always my favourite.

I met Sanchia three years ago, working as a hairdresser in Camden. She was the first hairdresser to tell me that my thick and unruly hair was actually beautiful and instantly, we were friends. Together, Sanchia & Richard are a truly fantastic couple; large-hearted, vivacious and very, very stylish, so I was privileged to photograph their intimate garden ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa whilst there on holiday last month.

Ella & Sam made it into Cosmopolitan Bride’s June/July issue. It’s so exciting to see some of my photos in print in an actual magazine I’ve bought before. Thanks so much to Miranda & Cathy at Cosmo-who are most lovely.
Have a great weekend-I plan to spend it be buried under a mountain of editing!
  • A RUFFLED BLOG FEATURE

I knew I would love Alex & Chris when we first spoke on the phone early last year. They’re designers and run their own studio, We Three Club, so I was very excited to see how much of their personalities they would bring to their wedding and when Alex told me she’d be wearing a vintage dress, I was in. They booked me right there and then on the phone without even needing to meet me, which for me is always a huge compliment. She also totally out-quiffed me with her gorgeous hair, scoring an easy 10/10 in the style stakes.

  • HOW TO GET GREAT WEDDING PHOTOS

I was really thrilled to have been asked to contribute some advice to You & Your Wedding’s photography special and especially honoured to see that my thoughts were sat alongside some very highly esteemed UK photographers too.

Wedding photography is obviously hugely important to me, but whether I’m photographing your wedding or not, I still want you to have beautiful photos. Those are heirlooms you’ll frame and hang and share, so they should be beautiful. Over the past 50 weddings, I’ve learnt that every single wedding is different, but having guidelines to work with for your photos certainly helps. The article covers all sorts of aspects like deciding on a style, choosing your photographer, allocating a budget and most importantly, timings. Pick up a copy of the most recent You & Your Wedding for some invaluable advice.

I’m heading to Edinburgh at the end of the week, for a very lovely country wedding at Lennoxlove House. I returned home from Crete this morning fresh off an Easyjet red-eye, to a huge mountain of editing and emailing but it’s always so good to be home.

  • IN THE PAST MONTH

…we have flown 9475km, driven 3750km, spent 17 nights in 10 different hotels, squeezed 14 newly weds, cried at 7 weddings, sat on 6 planes, spoken four different languages (at questionable degrees of fluency), travelled with three different loved ones as dutiful assistants and are now two very happy and grateful photographers. It’s been one really busy past month, but it’s also been so worth it.

Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to.

My first wedding in Amalfi, for two very beautiful people…

An engagement session in Paris for the gorgeous Janice & Michael…

Followed by their intimate wedding in Provence…

This glamorous wedding near Dijon for the very dapper Nicolas & the exceptional Alexandra…

And I finished up in España with elegant Alia & dashing Pierre’s fantastic wedding in Spain…

It has been a beyond beautiful month for us both and it looks like it’s set to last. We’re off to two lovely weddings in Ascot & Wiltshire today, a little bit closer to home.

Have a lovely weekend one and all and an especially happy anniversary to you, Husband.

Three years of marriage and you’re still here! I love you immensely. x
