A FLORAL CROWNED QUEEN

I often fall a little bit in love with my brides and find it quite hard to detach myself from what is for most, a day full of emotion. This wedding at the family farm, was no exception. Tori & Oli are the personification of what it means to love and be loved and never have I seen people so utterly adored by their friends and family. I hope these photos go some way in showing a snippet of just what a beautiful day of colour and happiness it was.

Another huge, huge thank you to you Tori and Oli, for choosing me to photograph your incredible wedding day. Your friends and family made me feel like I’d known them forever and that always means so much. I also owe a massive thank you to Dominique for her assistance on the day, who is an absolute professional.

If you’d like to see what Tori gets up to running her business in Norfolk, you can catch up with her blog, Wellies & Vogue. I’m so excited that this wedding is being featured in a very beautiful bridal magazine in the summer, but there’s a little bit more on that later.

This past month has been quite hectic with a trip to California for a photography convention, the welcome arrival of wedding season, a new logo and refined website and an engagement session in Paris and at the end of this week! I just spent an eye-watering amount of money developing four rolls of film from my adventures with Holga and buying five more…

The May & June issue of You & Your Wedding magazine is very exciting as it features quite a few of my photos, both weddings and portraits.

I got to meet the magazine’s new editor Maxine Briggs and spent a little while photographing her around her office. She’s very lovely and will no doubt do a tremendous job in heading up one of our favourite titles.

I was also asked to photograph Peta who has the enviable title of editor-at-large and her very stylish fashion assistant, Alison.

It’s always lovely for my clients to have something else to hold onto after the wedding and Clare & Rich’s Cotswolds wedding was an absolute detail-fest, just perfect for You & Your Wedding. Their beautiful wedding will be blogged soon, I promise!

  • DINNER TONIGHT..?

It’s lunchtime in London and it’s raining and grey, so I am dreaming of an evening in Crete, where we had dinner with the sunset and the shore.

It’s times like these that I am so thankful that I get to take photos for a living, meet beautifully unique people every week and have the opportunity to share one of the most memorable days of their lives with them. I’ll take all the grey and rainy days in the world for that.

Tomorrow, I get to photograph a three-day wedding in beautifully quaint Hurley and I’ve been looking forward to it all week!

  • A CAVENDISH SQUARE WEDDING

Megan & Nathan got married on a sweet, still day in May.  I started the morning with Megan at the Haymarket Hotel where she was getting ready with a pretty little entourage of glamorous friends and family.

Thank you Meg & Nate, for inviting us as guests and for having me photograph your lovely wedding.

In the five weeks since I last blogged, I have photographed four weddings in London, a wedding in Tuscany and a wedding in Rome atop a castle. I’ve been to the south of France, fallen in love with St Tropez, photographed an intimate elopement, flown back to Tuscany to photograph another sweet little wedding, and spent two glorious days in the unexpected London sunshine with a wedding at Northbook Park and a very first True Mod wedding.

We’ll be making up for lost time next week with a glamorous wedding in Provence, full of sunshine, smiles and our ever-gorgeous Georgia.

  • A FRENCH RIVIERA WEDDING

A beautiful weekend on the French Riviera, in the mountainside village of Eze, a couple in love stand beaming and blushing, amidst their families and all of their friends. We dined and we cheered, Nouvelle Vague filled the air and a bride shone her smile cheek to cheek. The sky stretched proud over St Jean Cap Ferrat, three shades of blue I could see, champagne was drunk and kisses exchanged as the sun set slowly in the sea…
