SANTORINI DREAMING

I snuck away with my husband to a pretty little island, a few nights set aside just for two. It felt like a dream, a huge breath of fresh air, Santorini I love you, I do.

We were lucky enough to stay at the beautifully simplistic Carpe Diem and soak in the view of the caldera at Le Petite Palais. It really was a most lovely few days of falling in love and wishing we were Greek. If you haven’t already been, I don’t know what you’re waiting for.

  • A TRIP TO CAPE TOWN

A couple of months ago, we went to Cape Town, for Richard & Sanchia’s wedding and decided to make a really good holiday of it. On our first day, we rushed down to a beach bar to have cocktails in the setting sun with the very lovely Emma Norén and her handsome Ricky.

This is my first photo taken with her beautiful Rolleiflex-there’s something sweet about taking a photographer’s photo. Emma photographed our wedding last year and for that, I adore her. We had so much organised for when we visited Cape Town, looking back at all the photos, I am amazed we fitted it all in.

I can’t take credit for that one that my husband took as I was

    London wedding photography
I’m now off away again for a few days, this time to Sicily to eat, sleep and take photos. Then I’m back to work on two weddings next week, in Covent Garden and the country. It’s going to be a really good week.
  • COFFEE AT THE SALUSBURY | QUEENS PARK

When I lived in Queens Park, the Salusbury Deli was my favourite café. It had local photography on the walls, secret benches out the back and amazing Melanzane alla Parmigiana. It had changed a bit since I last had breakfast there-sat with my husband the day before we left for our wedding last year.

    A BUSY THREE WEEKS

Here’s a sneak of what I’ve been doing over the past twenty-one days.

    Some portraits in Paris…

Back to London for some pre-wedding photos on Columbia Road…

A walk along the river after a wedding at St Paul’s…

    And a weekend in Portugal.

It’s been a very busy three weeks, but the next two are a little calmer with portraits and engagements and a lot of editing to do, before a wedding very close to my heart. I’m also going to be photographing this little beauty, our very own London Bride.

  • A CAVENDISH SQUARE WEDDING

Megan & Nathan got married on a sweet, still day in May.  I started the morning with Megan at the Haymarket Hotel where she was getting ready with a pretty little entourage of glamorous friends and family.

Thank you Meg & Nate, for inviting us as guests and for having me photograph your lovely wedding.

In the five weeks since I last blogged, I have photographed four weddings in London, a wedding in Tuscany and a wedding in Rome atop a castle. I’ve been to the south of France, fallen in love with St Tropez, photographed an intimate elopement, flown back to Tuscany to photograph another sweet little wedding, and spent two glorious days in the unexpected London sunshine with a wedding at Northbook Park and a very first True Mod wedding.

We’ll be making up for lost time next week with a glamorous wedding in Provence, full of sunshine, smiles and our ever-gorgeous Georgia.
