FAMILY PORTRAITS IN PARIS

An afternoon in Paris with the sunshine on your face, is there really a better spot to be, than in this beautiful place? A picnic and a blanket and a very cute baby named Grey, photographing family portraits in this city is a pretty wonderful day.

I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing The Moores in Paris three times now, so I was very sad to have missed them this month on their latest trip with their newest arrival. Photographing families has become one of my favourite things of late. To me, taking the time to mark these milestones in your family’s lives is so important. The years really do go flying by and who doesn’t want to look back in five, ten or twenty five years at photos of you all? So, whilst I’ve been shooting a lot of family portraiture here in London, I haven’t really made room to share it online, but you can now see a new home for my family photography right here, with plenty more to blog in future!

A GREEN PARK ENGAGEMENT

Megan & Nathan are two very lovely friends of mine and so I couldn’t be happier to be photographing their London wedding this afternoon. Megan is the nicest person and Nathan is both kind and generous and really makes her giggle, so today is guaranteed to be beautiful. Nathan proposed with a bottle of vintage champagne on the deck chairs in Green Park, which made it a particularly special spot to return to for their pre-wedding photos.

A WALK AROUND PARIS

I was so excited to have been recommended by the most incredible photographer Michele M Waite, to photograph Jamie & Steven whilst honeymooning in Paris. Steven is a wedding-planning, dress-designing, cake-making, husband extraordinaire and Jamie is quite possibly the prettiest, sweetiest and most charming lady you could ever hope to meet. We walked around town drinking coffee, buying sweets and taking photos. This really is my job, but it certainly doesn’t feel like work when you’re photographing these two in your very favourite city.

A RICHMOND ENGAGEMENT

In the summertime, when we still had lots of sunshine, Tiffany & Albert flew to London for a holiday and got in touch for a portrait session. I suggested we take their photos in Richmond and so we had a chilled out afternoon walking along the river all the way down to Petersham and back. Two perfect strangers even invited us into their beautiful house overlooking the river, to make use of their balcony. It was a calm, sweet afternoon.

It’s been a very busy three weeks, but the next two are a little calmer with portraits and engagements and a lot of editing to do, before a wedding very close to my heart. I’m also going to be photographing this little beauty, our very own London Bride.
