RECENT WEDDING FEATURES

I am so thankful for these recent features in Brides and You & Your Wedding magazines. I love that these will be something for the grandchildren to pour over in the years to come… Brides current issue features the spectacularly chic French chateau wedding of Daniel & Catherine

 

And You & Your Wedding treated me to a feature of the bright and brilliant wedding of Anne-Marie & Allan in their current issue, too!

 

I have been atrocious at blogging through the busiest of the season, but now that things are winding down, I shall be catching up on a huge backlog of real wedding posts alongside some of the engagement sessions and family portraits I’ve had the pleasure of shooting this year. There’s also a 2015 in review post in the making… where has this year gone?

    Rae is the kind of person who makes you laugh with one sly look and she found her perfect match in Bill. They live in New York, but chose to get married in London at The Crypt in St Paul’s Cathedral as Bill’s lovely mum has an MBE, which is like a VIP pass for St Paul’s. I am so glad to have met them both and to have shared in their wedding day. It was grey and windy, but to me they proved that it doesn’t matter one tiny bit. They were getting married and that’s all that really counts, right?

    One week in April, we escaped to blue skies, a trip with no emails, just my husband and I. Some Arabic was learnt, pronunciation attempted, some photos were taken and our pockets were emptied. We ate and we wandered, for a few days we stayed, we were still for a moment and these memories we made.

    A SPECTACULAR SEPTEMBER

    Last month I photographed a total of seven incredible weddings. I travelled back and forth to France for five of them,and I also got the chance to photograph two beautiful British weddings back home, on those rare few days of sunshine… It’s been a really busy month, so it’s been hard keeping up with blogging as well as shooting and editing, meetings and emails, but here’s a little look at what we’ve been doing.

  • A MAUNSEL HOUSE WEDDING

    A pretty weekend in Somerset, where the sky shone down so bright. A man and a woman were dressed to be married, beneath sunshine and perfect light. Four bridesmaids, three speeches, two families, one day, these two made me smile deep inside. This is the job that I love so much, picture memories of a groom and his bride.
