I often fall a little bit in love with my brides and find it quite hard to detach myself from what is for most, a day full of emotion. This wedding at the family farm, was no exception. Tori & Oli are the personification of what it means to love and be loved and never have I seen people so utterly adored by their friends and family. I hope these photos go some way in showing a snippet of just what a beautiful day of colour and happiness it was.
An evening at home with my husband, in our little London flat, sat outside under the heater on the terrace, listening to our neighbour’s winter concert, with a bottle of Oyster Bay. Feeling alive and truly grateful for life and love, forever surprised at how sweet London can be.
It’s been a phenomenal start to the year. I am already overwhelmed by what’s in store, but overwhelmed in the best way possible.
I am always thrilled to see my work in magazines and doubly excited when the bride is as excitable as the very lovely Jo. The Scoones had a very colourful summer wedding in Kent last year and it was an absolute treat to photograph.
You can see their feature in the latest copy of You & Your Wedding, January/February. What a brilliant start to the year for us both!
I have another thirteen weddings to blog from last year, alongside a couple of engagement sessions too. I do so love this quieter time of year; spending lots of time talking to my summer brides, booking flights for foreign weddings and wandering around town taking portraits.
My next wedding isn’t until March, in the very beautiful Stockholm; one of my favourite cities in the world, where absolutely everyone is beautiful. It’s absolutely true and I’ll prove it!
I fell a little bit in love with Philippa & James, during our engagement session in the summertime. Philippa is stylish and poised and has the coolest wry smile that I absolutely loved photographing, so I was certain that their Cotswolds wedding in July was going to be a treat.
