CHARLEY | PORTRAITS OF THE LONDON BRIDE

I’d like to introduce you to Charley. Not only is she funny, tiny and a little bit cheeky, she’s also a talented wedding planner with an eye for all things blogworthy. I also found out that she’s exceptionally camera shy, but I have to say that I love her all the same.

Up next is a beautiful wedding in Portugal that I photographed last month. If I can finish these edits, pack my suitcase and reply to all these emails, I’ll have it posted by the end of the week!

  • A JUBILANT JUNE

    The middle of the year is always the best, bare legs with picnics on the heath for a rest. A trip to Tuscany to spend time with these two, as they wed at an altar with a beautiful view. Two more pretty weddings, so much light and good cheer and the sun setting late at this time of year. Twelve months more marriage tucked under our belt, we wrap presents, write cards to pen things that we’ve felt.     A pretty weekend in Somerset, where the sky shone down so bright. A man and a woman were dressed to be married, beneath sunshine and perfect light. Four bridesmaids, three speeches, two families, one day, these two made me smile deep inside. This is the job that I love so much, picture memories of a groom and his bride.

  • A YEAR IN REVIEW

    A year of celebration, commitments made true, huge declarations of love & forty I Dos. The taking of photos, memories made & then framed, this is the joy occupying most of my days. Four seasons fly past us, a whole three-six-five days, our hearts leap & they sink in a myriad of ways. Take nothing for granted, hold everyone close, is the lesson that this year has taught me the most. So we love and we rally and we choose to live well and look back at the stories that the year had to tell…

  • THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF PHOTOGRAPHY

    I love to see my photos printed in frames or magazines, so I’m very chuffed to have had two recent features courtesy of the lovely Catherine at Wedding magazine.

    The first is in the British Journal of Photography’s March issue, which talks about the new style of wedding photography, featuring a portrait from Tara & Lawrence’s wedding.

    The second is in the pretty Wedding Flowers April edition; a full spread feature of the Westminster Chapel wedding I photographed last summer.
