I met Philippa and James a few months ago, to talk about their wedding in July. For their engagement session, they took me to the beautiful hidden gem that is Petersham Nurseries in Richmond and waited patiently for me to calm down and refocus on them-there were so many pretty things to look at!

I cannot wait for their wedding next month-with all the details and ideas they have planned, it is guaranteed to be amazing.
A handsome Brit and his American beauty on a Saturday in June last year, arrived at One Marylebone with friends and with families, said vows, gave speeches and cheered. The rain came to a holt, light streamed through the room, it really was a most beautiful sight. I saw and took photos, two cameras full of moments and they danced as I bid them goodnight.
Tomorrow at 5am, I leave for Portugal to photograph these two love birds who are getting married on Saturday. Aren’t they just gorgeous? They’re so very much in love and their wedding day is going to be of internationality, with friends from all over the world. It’s also 27 degrees which should mean a welcome return of my freckles. I really can’t wait.

It’s been a very busy three weeks, but the next two are a little calmer with portraits and engagements and a lot of editing to do, before a wedding very close to my heart. I’m also going to be photographing this little beauty, our very own London Bride.
A laid back Australian and a sweet and pretty Brit, meet in England and fall in love. He returns home, then moves to Singapore and she soon follows. Time passes, promises are made and a ring is bought. July arrives, families travel and hands are squeezed. Hugs are shared, a husband and wife are made and Charlotte & Andrew are married in Mallorca.
Imagine you are a photographer, agape and wide-eyed, at a giant candy-floss venue, with the sun high in the sky, the guys in tuxedos, the bridesmaids and bride, two sets of parents, brimming with pride, music and laughter and breath-taking views, it felt like a dream but it actually came true…
Lucy & Rob are exceptional individuals. Funny, charming and disarmingly sweet, their wedding day back in July was well worth the trip up to Edinburgh and back. The sun was shining, the martinis flowed and at the end of the evening, we put down our cameras, picked up a glass and stayed for a dance with our two new friends.

It was such a great place for an engagement session-really unusual and just so, so cool. It helps when you have gorgeous couples too of course!
