A ONE MARYLEBONE LONDON WEDDING

A handsome Brit and his American beauty on a Saturday in June last year, arrived at One Marylebone with friends and with families, said vows, gave speeches and cheered. The rain came to a holt, light streamed through the room, it really was a most beautiful sight. I saw and took photos, two cameras full of moments and they danced as I bid them goodnight.

Laura & Hywel epitomised the very essence of just letting go and I think it really shows in their photos, don’t you?

Last year was another fantastic one which is currently being revisited with more than a few album designs. It’s so good to know that my photos get printed outside of my office walls, are framed and book-bound to be treasured in the years to come.

January is a slightly quieter month for me but I’ve already photographed my first wedding of the year, posted off two pretty packages, met four new couples and thought about an escape plan for the end of February’s great British sub-zero winter…

  • A JUBILANT JUNE

    The middle of the year is always the best, bare legs with picnics on the heath for a rest. A trip to Tuscany to spend time with these two, as they wed at an altar with a beautiful view. Two more pretty weddings, so much light and good cheer and the sun setting late at this time of year. Twelve months more marriage tucked under our belt, we wrap presents, write cards to pen things that we’ve felt. Sometimes we party with our family and friends or travel to an island where the sea never ends.     A wedding at the Asylum filled with character and life where two individuals become husband and wife. A bride named Africa and her very handsome groom, gather all of their favourite people in a vast and meaningful room. They stand and they vow to honour and hold close, witnessed by all of the people whom they love the most. And so there are kisses and champagne celebrations, on this wonderful day full of life & jubilation.

  • AN AMALFI COAST WEDDING

    I flew all the way to Italy, to picture these two get wed and I cried at the sheer beauty, of the sweet things this groom said. Their public declaration on the Amalfi coast that day, filled me up with so much happiness, an utterly perfect wedding in May. Just thirty of their closest friends, gathered together to witness this, four earnest hands held together closed tight, two vows and that first kiss.

  4. So so elegant Chloe! Your photography suits this day to perfection and even despite the early drizzle outside you bring so much light to the day it looks like it was bright sunshine! Gorgeous couple, beautiful dress of course and particularly love the shot of the bride going up the stairs with the chandelier and the b&w kissing shots in the ceremony and speeches. Beautiful!
