A WEDDING IN MALLORCA

A laid back Australian and a sweet and pretty Brit, meet in England and fall in love. He returns home, then moves to Singapore and she soon follows. Time passes, promises are made and a ring is bought. July arrives, families travel and hands are squeezed. Hugs are shared, a husband and wife are made and Charlotte & Andrew are married in Mallorca.

Thank you so much, for trusting me to photograph your wedding. It was definitely a highlight of my year to watch your families come together and to be made to feel like I’d known you all forever.  Thank you Tracy for looking after us, to Shes for being the kind host and to the wedding venue, Can Simoneta for the beautiful backdrop. It was a privilege to have met you all.

This week has shaped up to be a busy one with an engagement in South London, an album design and one hundred and one client meetings. It’s warmer here now and already feels like spring and I for one, like it a lot.

This here is Miki. On the day of her wedding, she got dressed on a boat and it was bright and fresh and the view was so incredible. It was at this moment that I got a little bit awestruck. Isn’t she just beautiful?

I’m not sure that there is a better place to get ready for your wedding, than right by the sea.

I had a 4.30am start this morning for my first ever sunrise session and I’m up again at 3am for a flight to Mallorca. I am tired and I better get packing.

Mary and I first met at an event organised for wedding professionals to meet and get to know their colleagues and she had on the best hat I’d ever seen. When she asked me for a portrait session, I hoped she’d be wearing another brilliant hat. We met at a sweet little cafe for coffee and a chat and I even got to meet the charming, Samson.

I do love this kind of portraiture and if you think you would benefit from some casual photos like these for your business or even just because, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I have some autumnal portraits to do in the upcoming weeks, but there is room for one or two more.

I know I said something about a beautiful Swiss wedding and it is absolutely coming, I promise. I just have to get through a wedding tomorrow in Dorset and finish an edit on Sunday and then it’s up. There’s still so much editing to be done before my winter hibernation!

  • A SUMMER WEDDING IN TUSCANY

High on the hills of a village in Tuscany, the sun shining down behind clouds, for the intimate wedding of Liam & Nicole, two families and friends gathered round. • AN ENGLISH COUNTRY WEDDING

One afternoon with sunshine, a day in late May, I drove all the way to Sussex to photograph a wedding day. Ollie & Mels declared their union be one, so we all came together and smiled in unison. Some words were exchanged, hands were squeezed in delight, it really was so beautiful to watch these two unite.  Two families together and a plethora of friends, a party for two people and a dance at the end…
