What a year it has been, full of joy and of laughter, a number of weddings, a few happily ever afters, some sunshine, some airports, some beautiful times, some singing, some dancing with champagne and wine, three hundred and sixty five days I have seen, a thank you to you, here’s to 2013…
AN ENGLISH COUNTRY WEDDING
One afternoon with sunshine, a day in late May, I drove all the way to Sussex to photograph a wedding day. Ollie & Mels declared their union be one, so we all came together and smiled in unison. Some words were exchanged, hands were squeezed in delight, it really was so beautiful to watch these two unite. Two families together and a plethora of friends, a party for two people and a dance at the end…
A SPECTACULAR SEPTEMBER
Last month I photographed a total of seven incredible weddings. I travelled back and forth to France for five of them,and I also got the chance to photograph two beautiful British weddings back home, on those rare few days of sunshine… It’s been a really busy month, so it’s been hard keeping up with blogging as well as shooting and editing, meetings and emails, but here’s a little look at what we’ve been doing.

ALEXANDRA & NICHOLAS’ FRENCH WEDDING
A day of smiles, excitement and laughter, two promises to hold fast and a happily ever after. Alex & Nic, their beautiful families, my cameras and I and their friends from overseas. We all came together for a most emotional day, we watched and we clapped, we sang and we swayed. It felt like a film, the band played J’ysuis Jamais Allé and it became the soundtrack to a most incredible day…
