It is impossible not to be happy in the presence of Adam and Sophie. They are so very much in love with each other, you in turn find yourself falling a little bit in love with them. They laugh a lot and make you smile, they’re kind and affectionate, relaxed and real and as I discovered one day in Brighton, the kind of people you feel like you’ve always known. They also have a habit of making the sun shine, which was perfect for our morning wandering around for their pre-wedding photos.
A CAVENDISH SQUARE WEDDING
Megan & Nathan got married on a sweet, still day in May. I started the morning with Megan at the Haymarket Hotel where she was getting ready with a pretty little entourage of glamorous friends and family.

Thank you Meg & Nate, for inviting us as guests and for having me photograph your lovely wedding.
In the five weeks since I last blogged, I have photographed four weddings in London, a wedding in Tuscany and a wedding in Rome atop a castle. I’ve been to the south of France, fallen in love with St Tropez, photographed an intimate elopement, flown back to Tuscany to photograph another sweet little wedding, and spent two glorious days in the unexpected London sunshine with a wedding at Northbook Park and a very first True Mod wedding.
We’ll be making up for lost time next week with a glamorous wedding in Provence, full of sunshine, smiles and our ever-gorgeous Georgia.
HELLO ELIJAH
It’s taken me quite some time to pull this post together. I’ve had mixed emotions about sharing something so personal belonging to my clients, but they asked me to when they saw them and I feel like sharing something different today.
I had never really thought so much about photographing a birth until I was asked by my two beautiful friends. I was worried I would be in the way, that their memories would be of me and my camera and not of the birth of their first child and also selfishly, that it might put me off having my own children… I wasn’t, they aren’t and it didn’t.
I was the first person to ever take a photograph of this human being. Hello, Elijah.

I know he can’t really see but at four minutes old, he looked straight at me.
Kristina, you have never been more beautiful than you were on 21st January at 7.09am. You know that I am in total awe of you both and that I’m so grateful to have been asked to be there with you, camera in hand. You are simply incredible, made of the most inspiring things and I love you very much.
I’m away this week for a couple of days, spending time with my ma and sister. It’s times like these that reaffirm just how special a family is.
DINNER TONIGHT..?
It’s lunchtime in London and it’s raining and grey, so I am dreaming of an evening in Crete, where we had dinner with the sunset and the shore.
It’s times like these that I am so thankful that I get to take photos for a living, meet beautifully unique people every week and have the opportunity to share one of the most memorable days of their lives with them. I’ll take all the grey and rainy days in the world for that.
Tomorrow, I get to photograph a three-day wedding in beautifully quaint Hurley and I’ve been looking forward to it all week!
