MY 2009 IN WEDDINGS
I met Philippa and James a few months ago, to talk about their wedding in July. For their engagement session, they took me to the beautiful hidden gem that is Petersham Nurseries in Richmond and waited patiently for me to calm down and refocus on them-there were so many pretty things to look at!
I snuck away with my husband to a pretty little island, a few nights set aside just for two. It felt like a dream, a huge breath of fresh air, Santorini I love you, I do.

Over the past few weeks I have photographed six weddings and delivered eight discs, bought two sexy new lenses, redesigned my website, booked some incredible destination weddings, made some beautiful new friends and accrued an awful lot to blog.
So, here are some teasers from six of my recent weddings-there are plenty more to come.

I love this job.
A pretty weekend in Somerset, where the sky shone down so bright. A man and a woman were dressed to be married, beneath sunshine and perfect light. Four bridesmaids, three speeches, two families, one day, these two made me smile deep inside. This is the job that I love so much, picture memories of a groom and his bride.

On a warm sunny day when the sky is blue, London is just perfect for portraits. Avril & Mark suggested staying local for their pre-wedding photos and so we wandered around Maida Vale & Little Venice. Avril turned heads, I took pictures and Mark made us laugh. Everyone had a lovely morning in the sunshine.

What an amazing year you have had! It is wonderful to see that all four seasons have been represented and more importantly beautifully captured.
Congratulations on a great year! You must be very proud of yourself.
I am really really looking forward to see your work in the coming year. It will go from strength to strength I am sure.
Weddings here and abroad? Are you coming to NY?
I like how many laughs you've caught and shared at other peoples' weddings. Such awesome moments, you really have such a cool job.
Can't wait to see what 2010 brings.
(And I LOVE the photos from your wedding too… Sweet hair with the flower. A late congratulations!)
Gorgeous shots, Chloe. Can't wait to see what you do this year!
