The next morning we were all up bright and early, polishing shoes and straightening ties to witness the joining of two special lives.

Thank you to you both for being a pleasure to photograph in tweed and couture, Louboutins and buffed brogues.

There were lots of fantastic people involved in organising this weekend; Lisa & Rory, planner extraordinaire Mary, The Olde Bell’s Alannah, florist Chantal and the always entertaining Say Fromage. I tip my hat to you all.

This wedding was featured over on Martha Stewart Weddings, 100 Layer Cake and shall also be making a print debut in the not too distant future too.

Last week we photographed a wedding with a horse, kidnapped a sister and took her on holiday and spent three days on a workshop. This week is just as exciting with a whole lot of editing, putting of discs in the post and a very little wedding on the Amalfi coast. La vita é bella.

This week has been a long one spent editing and delivering, meeting and planning, talking, thinking and sharing. New friends were made and old ones revisited, but there’s a lot more on that to come…

It has not stopped raining in London for the past week, which has kept me tucked up inside editing some portraits, a gig, tea party and my first pro-bono project at UCLH. It’s already been a busy week and tomorrow the weddings begin again with a tiny little elopement of two. Umbrellas at the ready.

I scored myself a golden ticket to Matt Corby’s first secret garden gig in England and took my cameras along with our picnic. Sunshine, showers & singing under a London sky.

Brother was the triple J soundtrack to our Australia trip in January, so it was just amazing to meet the man himself. This kind of talent stops you in your tracks.

Up next it’s back to business, with a private little wedding in Rome.



We miss you two but know that life in Sydney suits you so well and that long holidays in Europe are worth looking forward to.

This week is another busy one with lots of editing ahead; a portrait shoot for the lovely Georgia, finishing up a beautiful wedding at One Marylebone, shooting a party for my friend Rosie and photographing a very exciting secret garden gig for Matt Corby. There’s a lot to look forward to.

I travelled all the way over to the other side of the world to photograph these two momentous events. First was the very intimate Byron Bay ceremony of five. It rained and it shone, she wore killer heels, he drove the Valiant and I witnessed the marriage of Melanie & her photographer husband.

Up next is their Bangalow wedding which they shared with friends and family. It was another emotional one.

How lucky am I to have this pretty Swede working alongside me? I think she’s the bee’s knees.

We’re having a weekend off, cleaning out the cupboards, booking up some travel and plotting an adventure to Amsterdam before a secret elopement to Primrose Hill & a tiny wedding in Marylebone. Weddings are always amazing occasions, but when we photograph small ones, we feel especially fortunate. Just the couple, their nearest and dearest and one of us with a camera. It’s the wedding equivalent of a VIP pass.

Up next is finally something from this year… A sweet little ceremony of five, in the ever-boho Byron Bay for my now Mrs Melanie Menge.

We walked around town drinking coffee, buying sweets and taking photos. This really is my job, but it certainly doesn’t feel like work when you’re photographing these two in your very favourite city.

Thanks to you both for being such a sweet pair to hang out with and for bringing such a beautiful wardrobe along with you too.

I have another portrait session in Paris left to blog and I’ll be returning in May for an engagement session before heading south to a wedding in Provence. Perhaps we should just relocate to France indefinitely? Now wouldn’t that be nice.

Last week was a busy one with two shoots in Manchester and Brighton, photographing people and places and then a most gorgeous wedding at the radiant One Marylebone. Things are already speeding up for the summer and it’s only April. Where has this year gone..?

Up next is a wedding at the elegant Cliveden, photographed by Emma-Jane and that little wedding in Byron Bay, Australia.

It is always a treat to travel for weddings, but particularly special when you go back to somewhere a little bit sentimental. Vi rigranzio, Nicola & Gillian for having me photograph your beautiful Roman wedding.

Next up is something more recent, from January of this year. A tiny wedding of five in Byron Bay Australia with a valiant, a lighthouse and a whole lot of love.

If you have ever thought about eloping, I say just do it. Don’t they look happy that they did?  In fact I have another elopement to photograph next month, this time in London. I’m really very fortunate to have the kind of job that invites me into occasions like these and for all the beautiful people I have the opportunity to meet. I honestly couldn’t ask for a job more satisfying.

Next up is a little wedding I had the pleasure of photographing in la città eterna. A welcome return to my second home, Rome.
